DJ XLR8 began spinning dance music in 1994 while still in high school. He began by working small parties for friends because of his wide selection of dance music and because of his unique and flawless mixing style. He spins primarily trance and progressive house. However, DJ XLR8 has also been known to spin sets including mainstream/top 40, eurodance/hi-nrg, deep house, and even hip-hop.

DJ XLR8 has made numerous appearances throughout Atlanta, including the Plush Lounge Nightclub, Club Kream, Riviera Club, Velvet Room Nightclub, Masquerade, and Globe Theatre. DJ XLR8 currently has an internet radio mix show, aired monthly on Music One Radio Fridays at 8:00 pm. It's a live-to-air mix of the hottest progressive trance.
